WELCOME TO ODYSSEUS 2027

10th International Workshop on Freight Transportation and Logistics
24–28 May 2027
Argostoli, Kephalonia, Greece

We are thrilled to announce the 10th edition of the Odysseus Workshop, a triennial international event bringing together leading researchers and practitioners in freight transportation and logistics. Scheduled for May 24–28, 2027, in the idyllic port town of Argostoli, Kephalonia, this edition continues the tradition of fostering deep technical exchange and impactful collaborations on the most complex challenges in supply chain and logistics systems.

ODYSSEUS 2027 marks the 10th edition in the series, following landmark meetings held in Crete 2000, Sicily 2003, Altea 2006, Çeşme 2009, Mykonos 2012, Ajaccio 2015, Cagliari 2018, Tangier 2021 (postponed to 2022 due to COVID‑19), and Carmona 2024.

Unlike formal conferences, Odysseus is designed as a workshop—a space for informal yet high-quality interaction among peers in operations research, transportation science, supply chain optimization, and data-driven logistics. It emphasizes rigorous research, innovative problem-solving, and community building, all set against the stunning backdrop of Argostoli’s coastal charm and Ionian hospitality.

Venue: Argostoli, Kephalonia

The workshop will take place in Argostoli, the picturesque capital of Kephalonia, a Greek island renowned for its natural beauty, rich maritime history, and warm Ionian hospitality.
